WWE WrestleMania 41 looks to be heading to...

While all the talk right now is obviously about WWE WrestleMania XL - taking place from Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on April 6 and 7 - there's an update on the status of next year's Showcase of the Immortals, WrestleMania 41.

Per Fightful Select, Minnesota is working under the impression that they'll be hosting the 2025 edition of WrestleMania.

Minnesota was previously believed to be a frontrunner for 'Mania 41, and the state has been hopeful that an official announcement could be made in the next few weeks. While WWE sources could not confirm or deny to Fightful that Minnesota will indeed be the location of next year's Granddaddy of Them All, "people of influence" within Minnesota told the outlet they've made preparations for an impending announcement.

On top of this, last week saw Tim Walz, the Governor of Minnesota, name-drop WrestleMania when talking about potential events coming to the state that make Minnesota "the place to be", citing how 'Mania would bring $20 million to the local economy.

One other name rumoured for WrestleMania 41 was Las Vegas, though Fightful was told if was to be the case, that would have been announced during the recent Las Vegas-held WWE WrestleMania Kickoff event.

In terms of Minnesota, Minneapolis' US Bank Stadium has been suggested as the venue for WrestleMania 41, but that is merely speculation at this point. Opened in 2016, that stadium - home to the Minnesota Vikings - can hold up to 73,000 people.
