Major WWE Raw Reunion Segment Rewritten Due To Ricochet Injury

'One and Only' missed out on big rub.

It was reported previously that last night's mammoth Raw Reunion show caused quite a headache for WWE creative, owing either to a number of injuries on the active side, or an inability to take bumps on the legends side.

One man quite notable by his absence was Ricochet. According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, the high-flyer's no-show had nothing to do with the contradiction caused by having an aerial 'One and Only' on the same episode as 'One of a Kind' RVD, but an ongoing elbow infection.

As a consequence, a big angle that would have put the shine on the recent NXT graduate was scrapped. The original plan positioned Ricochet alongside D-Generation X, and he was scheduled to receive the consequential rub at the end of the skit. On the night, Ricochet was replaced with Seth Rollins, who stood around as Triple H and pals bantered off The Club.

It's not currently know when Ricochet is scheduled to return to WWE action.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
