Alexa Bliss is on her way back to WWE television.

This was confirmed during last night's episode of Raw, with the promotion stating that the former Raw and SmackDown Women's Champion's "journey back to Raw" commences on next week's show.

Promotional material featuring a crying Bliss grieving over the tattered remains of her doll, Lilly, has also been produced:-

Bliss has been absent from WWE programming for the best part of four months, with the promotion writing her off television after a Raw Women's Title defeat to Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules 2021. That's where the above image of Lilly's massacre comes from - Flair tore the doll to pieces after getting the W.

It was reported shortly after Extreme Rules 2021 that Bliss would be absent "for a few months." Later, it was confirmed that while there was no word on the exact period of time Alexa would be away from television for, she was set to undergo sinus surgery.

Whether or not next week's "journey back to Raw" will be a fully-fledged return or just the start of one is unclear, as WWE's phrasing opens the possibility for either situation.
