Major WWE Star "Isn't Proud" Of His Performances

Current WWE Raw man says he's "done enough to get by", but that's about it.

Goldberg isn't especially "proud of anything [he's] done over the past number of years".

The returning star, who challenges Bobby Lashley for the WWE Title at SummerSlam on Saturday night, told AP News that he's "done enough to get by" and that's about it. In fact, Goldberg is really disappointed by his latest string of appearances for the company, and he wants to put things right in Las Vegas against Lashley.

It seems self-awareness is something big Bill has by the bucketload - even he knows that matches with The Undertaker, Bray Wyatt, Drew McIntyre and more didn't really cut it. The McIntyre one was WWE's least-egregious, but it still didn't make the grade as far as Goldberg was concerned.

He reflected during the interview by saying, "I've got to provide a little more entertainment". Wow. Goldberg then went on to add that he wants to "be a little more like Goldberg" and promised that fans would see better from him come SummerSlam.

There's something weirdly sad about hearing a bonafide legend be this hard on himself. At the same time, it's difficult to disagree with the man's words.
