Ronda Rousey has revealed that she deliberately "blocked out" WWE fans during her Royal Rumble win earlier this year.

The mega-star, who wrestles Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women's Title at Extreme Rules early next month, told Daniel Cormier on YouTube that the boos she received back at WrestleMania 35 coloured her thoughts.

After that, and when prepping for her return, Ronda steeled herself for more jeers from an audience she was struggling to figure out. Come Rumble time, Rousey "kind of missed out on really enjoying that moment because [she] was expecting the worst in people".

Ronda's Rumble celebrations don't live long in her memory either. She scaled the turnbuckle and pointed towards the big neon 'Mania 38 sign, but made a point of just going out there to "do [her] job" before quickly returning backstage.

Rousey entered as #28 and eliminated four wrestlers (Shotzi, Nikki A.S.H, Brie Bella and Charlotte Flair) en route to winning the match. Her 10-minute performance was over in a flash, but the ex-MMA badass didn't really mind that.

She was having a tough time dealing with the fans anyway.
