Jericho Claudio

Chris Jericho will face Claudio Castagnoli for the Ring of Honor World Championship on next week's AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam show.

Said eye-catching showdown was set up on the last night's edition of Rampage, with Le Champion confessing that seven world championships wasn't enough for him before setting his eyes on the "ocho" and the Blackpool Combat Club's ROH World title strap.

Sure enough, Castagnoli accepted the challenge and the pair will now join an already STACKED night of action.

But next week's Rampage: Grand Slam is also shaping up to be a rather special evening, too, with Darby Allin and Sting having a No DQ bout with the House of Black made official, Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara finally being set to collide, Diamante challenging Jade Cargill for her TBS strap, Jungle Boy battling Rey Fenix, and Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs running it back one more time.

And if that wasn't enough, a Rampage Golden Ticket Battle Royale has also been announced, that will see the winner rewarded with an AEW world title shot. Lastly, Samoa Joe and Wardlow will team in a contest against Mark Sterling's team of Tony Nese and Josh Woods on next week's Rampage: Grand Slam.
