Various cast members of Being The Elite - amongst them The Young Bucks - wrapped up their Ring Of Honor contracts at last night's Final Battle pay-per-view with respective losses. The only exception was Marty Scurll, who is set to stay with the Sinclair group until after their historic MSG show on WrestleMania weekend this April.

One day removed from their Hammerstein Ballroom curtain call, Matt Jackson of The Bucks posted a cryptic Tweet noting he was "leaving the territory":

Other than being an obvious farewell to the Ring Of Honor stomping grounds, Jackson's social media post sparked fresh speculation that he and his brother could be set to alight in WWE before long - possibly invading during the Royal Rumble.

There's absolutely no evidence whatsoever supporting such a suggestion, and it's instead much more likely Jackson was referring to his impending and highly intriguing 'All Elite Wrestling' project.

Throughout their ROH send-off, The Bucks made several tongue-in-cheek references to their rumoured start-up promotion - and their rejection of WWE. At one point, Matt nearly used Triple H's patented sledgehammer, but cast it aside. The point was none too subtle.

It's unknown when AEW will launch - and in what form - but it feels we're a step closer to finding out.
