Mauro Ranallo will not be in the announce booth for tonight's NXT TakeOver XXX show.

This is according to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, who tweeted the following minutes ago:-

No further details have been offered at this time, though the news is consistent with Ranallo's working pattern since the ongoing global health crisis began, with the popular announcer not travelling to Florida for WWE's television tapings at the Performance Center. Mauro has instead recorded any commentary work from home so that it may be edited into the shows later. Tonight's TakeOver is a live event, however, making this impossible.

It was announced earlier today that Corey Graves would return to his old position at the NXT table for tonight's show. With the Ranallo news, it's likely that Graves will be joined by regular black-and-gold commentators Beth Phoenix and Vic Joseph.

Ranallo has been with WWE since starting on SmackDown in January 2016. He left that show in March 2017, suffering a bout of depression, before moving to NXT three months later. He has served on the former third brand ever since, calling many of the show's most iconic moments.
