Maury Povich To Host Paternity Test On WWE Raw?

Could a paternity test be on the horizon to find out the real father of Maria's unborn son?

If you thought that this past Monday’s ‘gender reveal party’ segment was as groan-inducing as WWE’s Maria Kanellis pregnancy storyline could get, it now looks as if WWE is looking to throw Maury Povich into the mix.

Upon posting a graphic to Twitter to pose the question of just who is the father of Maria’s unborn child, WWE tagged in The Maury Show – with the show responding by suggesting a paternity test.

This follows on from a previous PWInsider report claiming that WWE was looking to incorporate Maury Povich into this angle, and the fact that The Maury Show films close to WWE’s Stamford, Connecticut HQ certainly adds an added layer of plausibility to the possibility of the legendary talk show host becoming embroiled in the mystery over just who is Maria’s baby daddy.

If you’re one of those lucky enough to have missed this Monday’s Raw segment, Maria initially said that Ricochet was the father of her unborn son. Fast-forward through an impromptu Mike Kanellis loss to The One and Only, and Maria instead insinuated that it was a returning Rusev who was the real father.

Given that Maury Povich has become synonymous with paternity tests over the decades, it appears that he’ll be stepping in to try and provide some clarity on all of this.
