Mick Foley Compares EC3 To Unflattering Ex-WWE Star
It's doubtful EC3 will thank him for this one!
WWE legend Mick Foley poked fun at EC3's new look on Twitter and made one of the most unflattering comparisons to another former WWE star.
Ol' Mick compared EC3 to member of both 'The Truth Commission' and 'The Oddities', Kurrgan. One can spot the resemblance thanks to Carter's new goatee, but he's certainly a much better in-ring worker than The Jackyl's old charge ever was.
Foley then rescued his potential insult by saying he thinks WWE "really missed the boat" with EC3; the ex-Impact Wrestling stand out was never given much of a chance during his second go-around with the company, and barely featured once he was "promoted" from NXT to Raw.
There wasn't much to write home about for Carter beyond a few matches with Dean Ambrose and some comedic performances in the 24/7 Title division last year. The weird thing is that EC3 seemed to tick a lot of boxes in Vince McMahon's world.
He has a great look, can talk for days and is very solid inside the ring. That's at least two more boxes than Kurrgan could ever tick.
EC3 might not thank Foley for this comparison, or maybe he'll see the funny side.
