Mike Bennett Takes A Shot At TNA On Twitter

It will be a miracle if TNA lasts long enough to punish him.

Things in TNA are so bad right now, that even the people who are earning a paycheck from the company (well...when the checks actually arrive) have no problem blasting them on social media.

Yesterday, Billy Corgan was unable to gain control of TNA in a courtroom, which is something a lot of talent behind the scenes were hoping for. Corgan has a vision, he has the respect of the wrestlers and he wants to shake things up and start over without the horrendous "TNA" initials. Meanwhile, Dixie Carter has a tremendous proven history of failure running the company. She remains in control.

In response to this, Mike Bennett took to Twitter.

However, he may not actually return to the company at all. As Jason Powell with Prowrestling.net has noted in an audio show, Bennett and Maria may become free agents in Jan. of 2017. Maria has also indicated she is leaving the entire wrestling industry soon. And with Impact already taped through the end of the year, they may never have to return to the Impact Zone at all to face any sort of repercussions.

If this is it for Bennett and Maria in TNA, it would be a shame. Both have arguably done the best work of their careers in the company since their arrival. However, who knows if TNA will even be around in 2017. After the loss of their timeslot on Challenge, things have absolutely never looked worse.

They really do need a miracle.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
