Killswitch/Luchasaurus is back on AEW TV, and he's a late replacement for Forbidden Door.

Killswitch/Luchasaurus returned to AEW TV for the first time in almost a full year on Wednesday's bumper taping of Dynamite and Collision in Glasgow, Scotland. The country's Hydro venue came to life for the big dinosaur as he marched to the ring as part of an angle with Cope, Christian Cage, Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne.

This is the first time Killswitch has been seen on AEW screens since All In 2024. Somewhat ironically, that took place in London, England, so the powerhouse clearly holds a candle for the UK audiences. Glasgow was certainly pleased to see him despite the fact he's retaining his heel status.

The multi-time former champion was hospitalised in September 2024 due to complications with pneumonia in both lungs, and there were fears that he'd have to call time on his in-ring career. That was obviously a bummer, but now the ex-Jurassic Express man is back doing his thing.

What's more, he's forced a late change to the lineup for this weekend's Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

Luchasaurus Replaces Nick Wayne At Forbidden Door

Cope and Christian were conducting an interview inside the ring with Tony Schiavone when Kip Sabian and Mother Wayne interrupted them. Then, the heels aired a short promo from Nick Wayne - he was on crutches selling an apparent broken foot after avoiding Cope's spiked weapon attack previously.

Wayne said the legend had taken away his dreams of competing at Forbidden Door in London, but then AEW revealed a last-minute substitute: Killswitch. He hit a chokeslam on Cope before having a staredown with ex-Patriarchy leader Cage. Another chokeslam followed, then All Elite top brass announced that the artist formerly known as Luchasaurus will team with Sabian against the one time Edge and Christian on PPV.

Other big matches on tap for Forbidden Door include a 5v5 'Lights Out Steel Cage' effort, Hangman Page vs. MJF for the AEW World Title, Toni Storm vs. Athena for the AEW Women's Title, and Zack Sabre Jr defending his IWGP World Title vs. Nigel McGuinness.
