Reigning Intercontinental and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio made his grand return to action on this past Monday's edition of Raw. This is the first fans have seen of 'Dirty Dom' in months - he was benched after suffering a shoulder injury in December.

Mysterio showed up to Raw with both of his titles, then introduced his onscreen girlfriend Liv Morgan. Of course, Dom Dom congratulated Liv on winning the 2026 Royal Rumble, but he didn't really get involved in her follow up work with Raquel Rodriguez or Stephanie Vaquer.

It remains to be seen exactly what Mysterio will be doing throughout WrestleMania 42 season, but he'll be glad to be back on WWE TV during such a crucial period. Dominik skipped last weekend's Rumble PLE held over in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, so he didn't want to miss too much time.

From here, WWE can take it pretty slow with Dom and ease him back into action. He isn't actually officially scheduled to work another match until defending the AAA Mega Championship vs. El Hijo del Vikingo at AAA Rey de Reyes on 14 March. He'll surely work on Raw before then, but the company can afford to bide their time with him.

It's good to see such an important character back in the mix, if nothing else.

Dominik has come a long, long way since debuting, and he's been on the cusp of breaking out as a surprise babyface package for a while now. Fans have finally embraced Mysterio as one of their own, and now he's back.
