MJF Sets Date For AEW To WWE Jump

AEW star MJF is surely toying with wrestling fans, but he's having a lot of fun doing it!

MJF has issued a 'come get me' pitch to WWE boss Vince McMahon.

Is the AEW star toying with pro wrestling fans? No doubt, but he told onlookers at the recent 'For The Love Of Wrestling' convention in Liverpool, England that he'd happily jump ship if the price was right. The routinely outspoken wrestler said he "did not get into this business to make any of you [fans] happy".

He got into wrestling "to make as much money as humanly possible" - if McMahon is willing to shell out more moolah, then so be it. MJF's current AEW deal expires on 1 January 2024. He'd immediately become one of wrestling's hottest free agents unless Tony Khan sits down to thrash out an extension before then.

Again, Friedman enjoys messing with people's minds. There are few better heels on the market than him, and he knows exactly what he's doing here. Repeatedly talking about the possibility of a WWE jump only drives up his value to All Elite Wrestling.

The fact MJF set a date for this incredible, career-altering switch is amazing though.
