Monday's WWE Raw Will Be A 'Night Of Grudge Matches'
Ready for another themed episode of Raw?
WWE are promoting Monday's episode of Raw as a 'Night Of Grudge Matches'.
It was revealed during Friday's SmackDown that Seth Rollins will meet Kevin Owens one-on-one (six days before his barmy 'Eye For An Eye' bout opposite Rey Mysterio). Other matches scheduled include 24/7 Champ R-Truth in singles action against Randy Orton and The Viking Raiders vs. Andrade and Angel Garza in an elimination-style tag match.
That's in addition to the already-promoted Women's Tag-Team Title showdown pitting Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Asuka and Kairi Sane.
Rollins and KO had previous at WrestleMania 36, and Owens has been booked to side with Mysterio against the 'Monday Night Messiah'. That match makes sense, but there might be some scratching their heads at Truth vs. Orton.
Mingling with the 24/7 Champion is a temporary drop for Randy before he resumes his heel-ish ways. On the plus side, it could be an easy way to heap more heat on him for being a sadistic git who likes punting randoms in the skull.
The elimination-style tag, despite mis-steps with both teams in recent months, should be a fun sprint.
