Having received major praise for his work at WWE x AAA Worlds Collide last weekend, could Mr. Iguana be set to become a part of the WWE main roster? Seemingly so...

Speaking to Linea Directa TV (via Fightful), Iguana revealed that he's already been told he's WWE main roster-bound.

"Literally, I was in the Performance Center yesterday and they told me, 'You're not going through NXT. You're heading straight to the main roster.' I was literally taking pictures with Shawn Michaels, and they told me, 'They need you here, because your shirt is the top seller in WWE and you're also the fastest-rising star when it comes to action figures and trading cards.' Being in WWE is the dream of every child, and I will have all the time in the world for my city because, thanks to them, and thanks to being culichi, I would not be where I am today."

Such a mark did Mr. Iguana and La Yesca - that'd be his iguana puppet - make at Worlds Collide, he was shown at WWE Money in the Bank later that same day, received a video package on this week's Raw, and was also in attendance for this week's NXT episode.

Reports note how WWE management has been massively impressed with Mr. Iguana and that he's been described as a "pleasure" to work with, with the company eager to do more with the current AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion and capitalise on his buzz-generating Worlds Collide outing.

In terms of Worlds Collide, Iguana teamed with Aero Star and Octagon Jr. to pick up a win over Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro, and Lince Dorado. El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable may have been the Worlds Collide main event - and a really great match, for that part - but Mr. Iguana was the name on most people's lips by the time that crossover special came to a close.

As for what's next for Mr. Iguana, some fans are speculating that he could well make a surprise appearance on next week's Raw. There, as part of the King of the Ring qualifiers, we have Sheamus, Rusev, Bronson Reed, and a mystery opponent facing off in a fatal four-way. Could Mr. Iguana be that mystery opponent? Stranger things have happened.
