Two-time IMPACT World Champion Eddie Edwards has penned a new contract with the Anthem promotion.

IMPACT revealed this news earlier today:

Eddie has long been one of the top stars in IMPACT, with him soon to approach ten years since his debut for the company; that being on 31 January 2014 as he and Davey Richards defeated Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels.

In addition to two runs as the promotion's World Champion, Edwards is also a five-time Tag Team Champion (with Richards as the American Wolves), and a two-time X Division Champion. Away from IMPACT, the Boston native also achieved plentiful success in Ring of Honor, where he became the ROH World Champion, the ROH TV Champion, and he and Richards held the ROH Tag Team Titles on two occasions.

The news of Eddie Edwards re-signing with IMPACT comes hot on the heels of the organisation signing Kushida and Trent Seven across this past week.

For those who may have missed it, IMPACT is to undergo a rebrand in the new year, with the company to return to its TNA moniker with the Hard to Kill PPV on 13 January 2024.
