Mustafa Ali has taken to social media to respond to claims that his skills on the mic are not on par with his ability inside the ring.

Despite being absent from TV for several months now, Ali has remained active on Twitter and in his response, the SmackDown superstar noted some of the serious themes he has explored in his promos as a practising Muslim who served in the American Police and mocked those who continued to doubt his abilities.

The former police officer also used his platform to discuss the current tense situation in the US following the death of George Floyd. Ali explained that he originally joined because he wanted to instigate change from within, and also noted that it is the responsibility of the police to fix the issue of discrimination, and for society to force the change if it is unwilling to.

The all-round good guy made headlines back in March when he went out of his way to support an independent wrestling promotion by paying for all of the wrestlers' wages on the first event out of his own pocket.
