Like many fans, Montel Vontavious Porter appears keen to see Bobby Lashley square off with Brock Lesnar. Not just that, but MVP wants to see this bout headline WrestleMania 37.

With the WWE on FOX Twitter account asking what match fans would like to see close out the Showcase of the Immortals, MVP chimed in to offer up Lashley vs. Lesnar as the ‘Mania main event.

For years, many have been keen to see this match take place, with the obvious similarities of these powerhouses clear to see. Two bulls with MMA backgrounds, “Hoss Fight” comes to mind when thinking of what could take place if Lashley and Lesnar were ever to step into the squared circle together.

Unfortunately, this pair have often found themselves as passing ships in the night.

By the time that Bobby Lashley debuted with WWE in 2005, Brock Lesnar had already been out of the company for a year. And upon Lesnar’s return to the company in 2012, Lashley had long exited WWE back in 2008.

When former ECW Champion Lashley made his own WWE return in 2018, many had hoped that we’d finally get to see these two physical specimens do battle. As it stands, that match has yet to take place – with Brock having been completely absent from WWE programming since losing the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36.
