Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria fielded questions from the Hollywood Reporter about WWE's recently-announced deal with the streaming giant and whether or not Vince McMahon's ongoing lawsuit would affect things at all. Bajaria had a very straightforward answer ready.

"He's gone. So he's not there. He's gone".

Bajaria was addressing allegations of sexual abuse and sex trafficking levied against the former WWE boss. Currently, top WWE programming (including flagship show Raw) is set to jump over to Netflix starting January 2025 - reporters wanted to know if Netflix were reconsidering things following the McMahon revelations.

Apparently not.

As things stand, Netflix will still champion WWE as a broadcast partner. There's more to unpick from the horrendous allegations legally, but that won't change the fact Raw and more will beam live on Netflix weekly from next year onwards.

Everyone from Triple H and Cody Rhodes to Shawn Michaels and even Nia Jax has been asked to comment on the Vince McMahon story since news broke. That's unlikely to change any time soon, so it's no surprise Bajaria was quizzed on his thoughts about the disgraced ex-WWE figurehead.
