Six months.

That's how long it could take Asuka to make a full recovery from the injuries suffered when a wayward Shayna Baszler kick to the face sent at least one tooth flying from her mouth on WWE Raw's 22 February episode, forcing the Japanese star off television for two weeks.

The Empress of Tomorrow revealed this using the Japanese social network NowVoice, adding that she is wearing temporary teeth for now. She plans on eventually having teeth implants to replace those damaged and lost by Baszler's boot.

Asuka was reported to have suffered a concussion during the incident as well, though she opted against commenting on this.

The reigning Raw Women's Champion returned on this week's episode of Raw. Seeking revenge on Baszler, she first brawled with The Queen of Spades while she was ringside with Nia Jax, disrupting a tag bout pitting Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose against Lana and Naomi. Later, Asuka met Shayna one-on-one, defeating her in around 90 seconds before stomping her mouth into the turnbuckles after the bell.

This week's developments would suggest Asuka vs. Baszler is set to continue, though The Empress has been linked with a WrestleMania 37 clash with Charlotte Flair as well.
