New Behind-The-Scenes CM Punk And AJ Lee Photo From Fox Sports Documentary

The road to Punk's UFC debut continues.

As CM Punk's UFC debut creeps ever closer, film director Rory Karpf has tweeted a new behind-the-scenes photo of Punk and wife AJ Lee from the filming of FOX Sports 'Evolution of Punk' documentary.

The documentary is scheduled to air ahead of Punk's debut fight, and will focus on Punk's journey from professional wrestling to mixed martial arts, from the squared circle to the octagon.

Whilst the picture is new for the viewing audience. the festive nature of the picture suggests it might not be quite as fresh as first assumed. Little is known about the documentary at this point, but it could very well be a little more candid than expected from the usually-private Chicago fighter.

The journey to Punk's UFC debut has been a long one, but it is almost over. Punk will make his octagon debut at the upcoming UFC 203 event on September 10th, fighting at welterweight against Mickey Gall, a 23-year-old fighter from New Jersey.

Punk signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship way back in December 2014, and his debut has been delayed and pushed back on a number of occasions.
