Having undergone somewhat of a career renaissance during his return to the brand, Baron Corbin's second spell in NXT looks like it's come to an end.

Initially, there were rumblings a couple of weeks ago that Corbin was in consideration for a move back to the main roster. That was followed earlier in the week by reports that the former United States Champion was expected to be in attendance for this week's SmackDown and next week's Raw, which in turn saw the 39-year-old's future teased on NXT this past Tuesday.

Now, Fightful Select reports that, yes, Baron Corbin will be moving to Raw or SmackDown as part of the 2024 Draft.

This then throws up questions of how Corbin will be utilised on the main roster, with there many fans who wouldn't be against seeing him reunite the fun War Dogs tandem with Bron Breakker. Of course, that team had success in NXT, becoming the brand's Tag Team Champions in addition to just generally being an entertaining highlight of weekly programming.

Another option is to have the 2019 King of the Ring winner simply return to the main roster as a singles act, with him a natural heel but also having shown glimpses of having a decent babyface run in him during this recent stint in NXT.

As for other NXT names on the move, both Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov will be heading to Raw or SmackDown, while Roxanne Perez, Lyra Valkyria, and the D'Angelo Family are amongst the NXT talent who've supposedly been discussed to make the jump to the main roster.
