New Faction Debuts On WWE NXT

Newcomers AJ Francis and Briana Brandy join Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott's NXT entourage.

A new faction formed on last night's episode of WWE NXT, as Isaiah 'Swerve' Scott welcomed AJ Francis, Briana Brandy, and Ashante 'Thee' Adonis to his entourage following his Falls Count Anywhere match with Leon Ruff.

Scott and Ruff fought in the opener. Ruff looked like he was on the verge of taking the victory when he got ready to leap from a ladder, only for Francis to emerge, catch Ruff, smash him against the barricade, and allow Scott to win via JML Driver.

The cameras caught up with Scott and Francis later in the evening. Joined by Adonis and Brandy, the new group was identified as Isaiah's entourage.

Francis and Brandy were both making their onscreen debuts. AJ, a former NFL player, has been with WWE since January 2020 and currently hosts the WWE's Most Wanted Treasures show on A&E, while Brandy was signed back in August 2019. Adonis is a more tenured wrestler in WWE and a regular 205 Live cast member since the global health crisis' onset last year.

Former EVOLVE standout Anthony Henry also debuted last night, wrestling as Asher Hale in a defeat to Cameron Grimes.
