New Host Planned For Hall Of Fame
Who will replace Jerry 'The King' Lawler?
WWE are planning on announcing a new host for this year's Hall of Fame ceremony, according to Rajah.com
The current master of ceremonies, Jerry 'The King' Lawler, revealed on his 'Dinner With The King' podcast that he will be stepping down, hinting that WWE were considering going in a "different direction" this year.
Corey Graves and Renee Young, who work together as part of the commentary team for Monday Night Raw, are allegedly the planned replacements as hosts for the esteemed ceremony, and it appears as though the duo could co-host, for this year at least.
Jerry Lawler has been the Hall of Fame host since 2009, having himself been inducted into the HoF in 2007 by William Shatner. The ceremony has previously been hosted by the likes of Todd Grisham and the late 'Mean' Gene Okerlund.
The 2019 Hall of Fame will emanate from the Barclay's Centre in Brooklyn, New York on the Saturday of WrestleMania weekend. Confirmed inductees so far include D-Generation X (Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chyna, X-Pac, and Road Dogg & Billy Gunn aka The New Age Outlaws), Torrie Wilson, and the Honky Tonk Man.
