New Team Formed On WWE Main Event?

Could we see more of this trio going forwards?

This week's taping of WWE's lesser-viewed Main Event saw an unlikely trio linking arms - hinting at a possible team going forwards.

The episode, filmed before Monday Night Raw from Everett, WA's Angel of the Winds Arena, saw heels Cesaro, EC3 and Robert Roode join forces to take on and ultimately defeat The Lucha House Party.

It's the first time the three have tagged with one another. Both Roode and EC3 have found themselves anchored in the 24/7 Championship scene of late, whilst Cesaro is apparently being prepared for a feud with Aleister Black.

Given the supposed plans for the Swiss Superman, it seems this stable was simply a one-off thing, but who knows? Cesaro, an accomplished tag wrestler alongside Tyson Kidd and Sheamus, would certainly be capable of getting more out of EC3 than the company currently is, whilst it might lift Roode out the mire he so quickly fell back into following his makeover.
