New Title Match Added To WrestleMania 38 On WWE SmackDown
WWE decided to announce another title match for the big 'Mania weekender on Friday night.
WWE added a SmackDown Tag-Team Title match to the lengthy WrestleMania 38 line up on Friday's episode of blue brand telly.
Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs will collide with The Usos for the latter's tag straps, and it seems the bout will happen on night two of the big weekender next month - that could change before the company reaches Dallas though.
Fans should expect a few matches here or there on both undercards to shift about.
Jimmy and Jey reasoned that no team on the SmackDown roster was worthy of meeting them at 'Mania during an in-ring promo on FOX, but Nakamura and Boogs came out to suggest otherwise. That led to a match between Boogs and Jey; the stipulation said that Shin and Rick would get a title shot on the grandest stage possible if Boogs could beat Uso.
That happened, so the match is set. It is worth noting, however, that WWE could still sprinkle in a few more faces to help pad the match out and turn it into a multi-team affair. The quest to squeeze everybody onto WrestleMania continues.
