New TNT Champion Crowned On AEW Collision

And NEW...

AEW Collision Luchasaurus Christian Cage
AEW

While he's positioned himself in this role already in recent months, Christian Cage is now officially the TNT Champion.

Last night's AEW Collision saw Christian and Luchasaurus take on Darby Allin in a handicap... err, triple threat match for Luchasaurus' TNT Title.

It was actually Luchasaurus who was pinned by Cage in this bout, with that pinfall coming after Darby had nailed the big man with his Coffin Drop. Ever the wily opportunist, Christian threw Allin into the ring post and then pinned the fallen Luchasaurus for the 1-2-3.

This brings Luchasaurus' run as TNT Champion to a halt after 98 days, with him having only actually successfully defended that belt on three occasions - in singles matches against Shawn Spears, Brock Anderson, and Darby Allin.

Despite Christian Cage proclaiming how he was now done with Darby Allin post-match, the Canadian was informed by Tony Schiavone that he will be facing Darby in a 2/3 falls contest at AEW WrestleDream next Sunday. This means the issues between those two now rumble on for over three months by this point in time, with WrestleDream likely to bring a close to this rivalry.
