It looks like Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will continue on as a tag-team in WWE despite losing their Tag Title match vs. The Usos on this week's episode of SmackDown.

WWE's official YouTube channel posted a clip that showed what happened after the show went dark. Drew and Sheamus were selling disappointment in the ring as Jimmy and Jey celebrated on the entrance ramp. Then, out of nowhere, The Viking Raiders attacked both and laid the pair out.

Michael Cole and Wade Barrett provided commentary for the clip, which you can see below:

Triple H's creative team may well use Erik and Ivar as a means to get McIntyre/Sheamus back in the title conversation before Royal Rumble on 28 January. There, they could feasibly work a rematch with The Usos for the Undisputed Tag belts - few would be mad about that, because the quality of their first-time clash on Friday was very, very high.

Alternatively, this could be a way to move Drew and The Brawling Brutes away from feuding with The Bloodline for the time-being. WWE could squeeze one more bout out of it, but that feud is close to overstaying its welcome generally.
