New WWE Tag Team Forms

WWE looks to bolster their sagging tag team divisions.

In some news that's likely slipped under the radar of many, it appears that WWE is now formally teaming Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo together.

As per PWTorch, this team-up actually took place on the 15 September edition of WWE Main Event, although that weekly show is one that most wrestling fans tend to miss. It also doesn't help that Main Event initially airs on Hulu, then takes a couple of weeks for an episode to finally hit the WWE Network.

While WWE throwing random wrestlers together on Main Event isn't anything particularly noteworthy, what is noteworthy here is that Garza and Carrillo picked up a victory over the Lucha House Party duo of Lince Dorada and Gran Metalik. As such, one would imagine that, given how Garza and Currillo got the win, WWE has plans for the two to continue to team moving forward.

For those unaware, Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo are real-life cousins. Pairing the talented but hugely underutilised two together could be a smart move from WWE - particularly with how lacking and repetitive the WWE tag team divisions are at the moment, and also with how WWE has done barely anything of note with either of these talents in recent weeks and months.
