New WWE Title Revealed With Updated Branding

The WWE Network logo will now adorn the belt.

A picture has emerged of Triple H holding a new WWE Championship belt at a photo-shoot. The grainy photo appears to be legitimate, it also looks as if that could be Stephanie McMahon to Hunter's side. This makes it all but certain that the WWE will be having a brand overhaul this September. It had long been speculated that a new logo would be coming in, with the WWE Network logo primed to be used across WWE's operations. As you can see from the new belt, it features the same logo as the Network, in addition to new gold plating on the sides. It isn't really too dissimilar from the WWE title belt that The Rock introduced in 2013. The logo is the one major change. It's simple and classy, yet retains an air of prestige. What's perhaps even more interesting is Hunter holding the belt. What does this suggest? It could be merely that the WWE's Authority are taking photos to introduce the belt. Or perhaps it could be something more. Maybe this is a sign that Brock Lesnar will be winning the title at SummerSlam, with this photoshoot being a visual story of The Authority celebrating getting the WWE title back in their midst. A more outlandish theory is that Hunter could somehow become champion between now and September. Is this photoshoot to celebrate what would be his fourteenth world championship? Don't count on it. As WWE Executive Vice President of Talent and Creative, Paul Levesque is far too busy to work a full time wrestling schedule. He needs to be directing the ship, not manually operating in it.
