With WWE coming under plentiful criticism from fans in recent weeks and months for the product being put out, not to mention many questioning the recent release of certain talent, WWE President Nick Khan has once again called such criticism as being from a "vocal minority."

Monday saw a town WWE town hall meeting take place, with POST Wrestling obtaining the details of that meeting and the audio of the call.

At one point during this meeting, TKO COO Mark Shapiro read out an employee question asking how the company plans to address "concerns about over-commercialisation and creative direction." This is where Nick Khan pushed back and said such criticisms were from a "vocal minority".

As Kahn then put it:

"To me, if you make business decisions based on online sentiment, just know what you're going to be making said decisions on a minority percentage of voices, a vocal minority."

Khan then used some of the online reactions to Roman Reigns' 2015 Royal Rumble win, Bad Bunny being in the 2022 Royal Rumble, the Rock's return ahead of WrestleMania 40, John Cena's retirement tour, and WWE bringing CM Punk back to the company as examples of loud noise that, in his eyes, didn't impact business. Khan quoted select tweets from the time of those happenings, while highlighting how Reigns and Punk "stole the show" at WrestleMania 42.

After downplaying fans' reactions, Nick Khan encouraged WWE staff to have "open dialogue" with him, Paul Levesque, and the creative team if they feel something isn't working or somebody should be used in a more featured role.

As for Levesque, Khan also announced that the Game has signed a new multi-year deal to remain as the WWE Chief Content Officer. So, for those looking for a major change in the creative team, don't expect that any time soon, at least when it comes to the top of the creative food chain.
