Nikki A.S.H Reveals When WWE Told Her She Was Getting Pushed

WWE left it rather late to clue Nikki A.S.H in on her Raw Women's Title push.

Nikki A.S.H found out that she'd be winning Money In The Bank mere hours before the pay-per-view went live.

WWE officials pulled the Scot to one side and informed her that she'd be hauling down the briefcase on 18 July. A.S.H told Fightful Select that she wasn't, however, told what Raw's creative team had in mind for her afterwards - in other words, Nikki didn't know if she'd successfully cash in the contract, sit on it for a while or lose it.

A.S.H turned up for the next evening's episode of Raw without knowing what the future held.

Again, WWE chiefs sat her down for talks and revealed that she'd be cashing in MITB on that night's show. It's unclear whether or not they also said she'd be dropping the belt to Charlotte Flair come SummerSlam (Nikki didn't go into detail about that during the interview).

It does appear that her unlikely rise as an underdog babyface was rushed through though. WWE must've thought that a surprise one-two punch of MITB and title win would do wonders for her 'Almost A Superhero' gimmick.

Nikki's reign lasted a grand total of 33 days.
