Hangman Page's G1 Climax story thus far has been one in direct contrast to fellow break-out performer Jay White. Both men have been hotly tipped and been the best versions of themselves, but Page's commitment to competitiveness over White's to cheating has left the former circling the drain in Block A whilst the latter soars with six points.

He fell victim to a flash of old Okada in his match against the former IWGP champion. Kazuchika Okada's nervous breakdown has been arguably the most thrilling aspect of the entire G1 thus far, crafting a sense of genuine shock from the audience when he was finally able to break his 2018 duck.
