NJPW G1 Climax 2019 Night 14 (August 4) - B BLOCK: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Juice Robinson Vs. Taichi

Jay White Jon Moxley
NJPW

This might mark the end of the Taichi-in-the-G1 experiment.

Well, it won't for now at least - the Suzuki-gun P.O.S has two more matches to go like everybody else, but much like in other outings during this mixed bag of matches for the old school Sports Entertainment heel, his schtick brought down the performance rate of a Juice Robinson in need of another banger to solidify his status.

Robinson's had a strong year in spite of him teetering on the verge of elimination from B Block, with his entire run effectively designed as the filler in a Jon Moxley sandwich. Seeing their names apart from one another on the final night of the tournament was destined to be big, but Robinson's thirst for redemption since losing his United States Championship has resulted in an impressive overhaul of his in-ring game.

None of which, infuriatingly, he was allowed to flex here ahead of another run-in filled defeat. Next.
