No Way Jose Takes Shot At WWE With New T-Shirt Design
The former Conga leader gets spicy with new merch.
The wrestler formerly known as No Way Jose has become the latest to take a shot at WWE since leaving the promotion, having unveiled a new t-shirt design on ProWrestlingTees.com.
The man himself tweeted the following on Saturday:-
At least he's doing it in good humour.
A play on Marshawn Lynch's old joke about attending press conferences (which is trademarked), the design refers to Jose (and other WWE talents) being ferried across the United States for tapings in Orlando, Florida during the ongoing global health crisis - a topic that has sparked much debate over the past few weeks.
Released by WWE on 15 April, the former Jose has claimed that he has already ditched his old gimmick and will be looking to show a more serious, aggressive side going forward. He is now going by his real name, Levis Valenzuela, and told Inside the Ropes that while No Way Jose was a good gimmick for him in terms of making a living, he feels that he has more to offer than what the character would allow.
As with the other released wrestlers, let's hope Valenzuela finds the fulfilment he is looking for on wrestling's other stages.
