Number One Contender's Match Booked For WWE NXT Next Week

Karrion Kross will learn his TakeOver: In Your House opponent next Tuesday.

Top NXT contenders Pete Dunne, Johnny Gargano, and Kyle O'Reilly will fight for an NXT Title shot on next week's show.

As confirmed by General Manager William Regal on last night's episode, the trio will meet in a Triple Threat match designed to determine Karrion Kross' challenger for TakeOver: In Your House, which goes down on Sunday 13 June.

Kross has reigned as NXT Champion since defeating Finn Balor at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania 37 week in early April. The big man successfully defended it against Balor again last night, forcing him to pass out with his Kross Jacket submission hold.

Gargano has had several notable interactions with Kross over the past few weeks, with his The Way stablemate, Austin Theory, recently losing to Karrion after a backstage confrontation with Scarlett on the previous show. Dunne and O'Reilly both mounted notable NXT Title challengers while Balor was champion.

No other matches have been confirmed for TakeOver: In Your House yet, though next week's show will see another title fight, as Legado Del Fantasma's Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza challenge NXT Tag Team Champions MSK.
