One of NXT 2.0's new breed just made his debut on last night's WWE SmackDown.

NXT 2.0's Von Wagner made his blue brand debut on Friday's episode of SmackDown.

Kyle O'Reilly's tag-team partner showed up during a brief backstage segment with Sami Zayn and WWE authority figure Adam Pearce - Wagner was chatting with Pearce when Sami rudely barged in and demanded that Jeff Hardy be removed from the show's Survivor Series team.

That led to Pearce announcing Sami vs. Jeff - the winner would be booted from the squad for next week's pay-per-view. Meanwhile, Von Wagner stood around with his arms folded and didn't really say much.

Who knows where this is going, or what WWE has in mind for the NXT 2.0 star.

Is he about to ditch O'Reilly completely and jump to SmackDown as some sort of late Draft pick? Possibly. Or, this could've been WWE's way of getting Wagner on FOX and putting over the NXT brand; if so, then they didn't do a very good job of hyping up the third brand. It was barely mentioned.

Plans seem to change in WWE every day too. This might end up being a one-off for Von Wagner.
