Result: Gargano nails a Slingshot DDT to win the title (23:36).

Rating: There's no two ways about it: this was awesome and probably one of the best matches WWE has put on over the last few years.

Far from the rat-a-tat spot-fest many were expecting, Gargano and Ricochet dared to slow things down at points and focus on grounded, technical wrestling, and the result was intense as hell.

The kickouts, the drama, and yes, the high-risk offence, combined with an epic length and a crowd that couldn't be hotter, ensured this was close to being note-perfect.

There were a few moments where it felt like the impact of the moves was being downplayed in favour of showing off an impressive ballet display, but even so, this was the easy show-stealer. 9/10
