Result: Asuka makes Mickie tap with the Asuka Lock (13:07).

Rating: It was an incredibly predictable showdown but a totally solid encounter all the same, demonstrating how Mickie can still go on a grand stage.

They really blew the ending with an overly abrupt finish rather than milking the drama of Mickie trying to escape the Asuka Lock, but on the other hand a veteran tapping out to it so quickly also gives it major credibility.

Overall the storytelling was really strong for what's basically a filler match on Asuka's reign of terror, and Mickie did a fantastic job keeping up with her, enough that hopefully WWE will keep her around to help bolster the women's division. 7/10
