Once again NXT, with the odds stacked against it, set the bar for what wrestling should be, and gives the gimmick filled Survivor Series a tough act to follow.

The crowd certainly helped in this endeavor tonight. Toronto has long been referred to as "Bizarro-world" by WWE, and tonight, they were as strange and engaged as ever. The constant "10" chant during a count out, bringing the UK's "one fall" response to the ACC, and showing fun and investment with every reaction is proof that a crowd can make a good show great.

Also, NXT just seems to do the little things right. You can hear the referees reminding the wrestlers to "protect themselves" throughout the match. There were spotlights for championship introductions. Every match, wrestler, and championship felt special and important - something that the main roster could learn from

In the end, it was a fantastic, captivating night of wrestling from the 'Great White North'. If NXT is rebuilding, it's doing it pretty damn well.
