4. NXT Women's Title - 2 Out Of 3 Falls: Shayna Baszler (c) Vs. Kairi Sane

Result: Shayna reverses Kane's Elbow Drop into a roll-up to retain the strap (10:55).

Rating: This got off to a riveting, intense start, but suffered a little through being oddly rushed. The first fall came far too soon, and though it made Baszler look like a beast, it was clear the match had its time shaved to give the main event enough breathing room.

Nevertheless, it was a fiercely contested match with some amazing spots - the apron DDT was terrifying - though the third-fall shenanigans came close to overbooking and were largely unnecessary (apart from Io Shirai's insane Moonsault).

The ending also came off a bit wonky on TV: Sane was clearly supposed to elbow the mat instead of Shayna, but it didn't really look that way, even on repeat viewings of the finish. Shayna's reversal was, however, slick as hell.

A mostly very good match even if it felt too frantic at times, because no 2-out-of-3-falls match should last barely 10 minutes. 7/10
