Zoey Stark looks set for an extended period on the sidelines after revealing the extent of her recent injuries via Twitter.

The former WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Champion tweeted the following on Tuesday night, stating that she had torn her meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament, which, in kayfabe, is being attributed to Toxic Attraction:-

Stark and tag partner Io Shirai were embroiled in a feud with Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne heading into the recent Halloween Havoc event, on which Dolin and Jayne took their Women's Tag Team Titles in a three-way ladder match also featuring Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta. That storyline continued in Stark's absence this week, with Shirai teaming with Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter to face Dolin, Jayne, and Toxic Attraction leader Mandy Rose.

Dolin won the bout for her team, pinning Carter.

News that Stark was injured first broke last week, after she had been written off following an attack by Toxic Attraction. This was done to keep her off television for an indeterminate period of time.

Stark has been with WWE since January 2021, debuting on television (205 Live) just nine days after her signing was confirmed.
