One Iconic Moment For Every Year Of The Undertaker's WWE Career

22. 1999 - The Dark Wedding

The Deadman definitely got more "Dead" as 1998 wore on and by the time 1999 rolled around, he was a full-on dark priest.

As the leader of The Ministry of Darkness, The Undertaker commanded more evil power than ever before and, in an attempt to consolidate this power, he went straight to the top and hit Vince McMahon where it hurt the most.

No, not in the grapefruits: in the children.

At Backlash, The Undertaker abducted Stephanie McMahon by posing as a limousine driver (just where a dark priest gets a driver's licence I don't know, but let's move on) and, the next night on Raw, attempted to wed her in an unholy union.

The Ministry of Darkness carried Stephanie out to the ring Christ-like on a huge Undertaker symbol. Then, with Paul Bearer serving as the minister, the ceremony began.

Thankfully, Steve Austin was on hand to save the day before we all had to get used to "Stephanie McMahon-Undertaker", but this remains one of the most memorable angles in Raw history and proved that the WWF were willing to push the boat out with their content in the midst of the Monday Night Wars.
