One WWE Match You MUST Watch From Every Year 1984-2024

29. 1995 - Diesel Vs Bret Hart, Survivor Series

The third match of an absorbing trilogy between the two spanning nearly two years, if their Survivor Series 1995 battle was their last, the feud might have been preserved in amber as an all-time great. Nonetheless, this match still was.

Bret Hart displays his offensive and defensive masterclass, having learned how to finally beat 'Big Daddy Cool' whilst simultaneously understanding that he can't do a great deal to stop him.

The finish (and it's welcoming of the Spanish announce table into lore for the first time) was impeccably arrived-upon - Hart's mind was sharp even if his body was weak, and the Diesel's vulnerability revealed a side he swore to never succumb to again.
