One WWE Match You MUST Watch From Every Year 1984-2024

26. 1998 - Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs Dude Love, Over The Edge

Dean Ambrose Bray Wyatt

The match that ushered in WWE's new main event style under Stone Cold Steve Austin, an epic interference-laden clash that had as much to do with the ancillary players as the men themselves, this was endlessly creative Sports Entertainment violence with more than a dash of dark arts in order to hide that it could be rebadged month after month for the princely sum of the pay-per-view fee.

This was the original, and the best.
