Over 140 Wrestlers Missing From WWE's Official 2020 Draft Pool

Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch & NXT head the list of omissions.

Yesterday saw WWE unveil the official ruleset and talent pools for the upcoming 2020 Draft, which kicks off on tonight's episode of SmackDown and continues through next week's Raw. While fairly comprehensive when it comes to wrestlers currently appearing on television, the list features close to 150 omissions, as handily compiled Ring Report's Anthony Mango here.

Every single NXT wrestler has been left out of the draft, suggesting the black and gold brand won't be involved in WWE's latest roster reshuffle. This should end weeks of speculation regarding potential NXT movement.

The likes of Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch head the list of main roster omissions. None of these people are active on WWE television at the moment, meaning they'll likely go undrafted, enter a pool of free agents, and select Raw or SmackDown whenever they return.

Injured wrestlers like Ivar and Raw commentator Samoa Joe also find themselves on the list of omissions, as do The Forgotten Sons, who had been pegged for a WWE comeback in recent weeks.

WWE's brand-to-brand fluidity means the possibility of any of these wrestlers showing up on Raw or SmackDown after the Draft cannot be ruled out, however. The promotion's brand split is rarely rigid.
