Paige's Parents Give Reaction To 60 Day WWE Suspension
Mom and Dad are not happy with WWE!
As we learned earlier today, Paige has been suspended once again from WWE, this time for 60 days for a second violation of the wellness policy.
While Paige has already taken to social media to vent her frustrations, her father has quickly jumped to defend his daughter, saying that the test failure was due to prescription painkillers:
"ok here we go again yes i know about my daughters suspended once again she has not failed a drugs test.My daughter has had a long term neck injury which imo has not been dealt with. i have ask my daughter to return to UK For help with this injury as help and direction in the USA Has not been forthcoming imo. She has been in pain and out of in ring action for a fair while now and has been prescribed pain killers which apparently is against the wellness program. i feel my daughter has been let down big time in the USA and the proper care and advice needed in the position she has been in has not happened to say i am pissed off with the situation is an understatement, this is my statement i am not open to questions thankyou for your cooperation.
Mama Paige also jumped in herself to give a more vague (though much more grammatically pleasing) response:
"sometimes letting out a scream just doesn't sound loud enough, banging your head against a wall doesn't reach the spot, closing down emotionally causes inner demons to surface, asking for help creates rumours, being in a sea of people but being alone, sometimes life just sucks...
You have to imagine this could be it for Paige in WWE. Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton may have survived the 60-day suspensions in the company, but Paige certainly isn't anywhere near their league in terms of popularity.
There are some mid-to-lower-card exceptions like Konnor and Evan Bourne who have stayed on after a second violation, but it's usually a good way to find yourself unemployed.
With Paige suffering an injury of some sort, her boyfriend leaving the company and two Wellness Violations against her, this has certainly been a troubling year for her.
