Pentagón Jr. Addresses WWE Rumors
Could a new acquisition be on the way?
After rumors began to make the rounds that both Fénix and Pentagón Jr. are making their to WWE, the former Impact Wrestling Champion has finally broken his silence.
And it's probably not what WWE fans were hoping for.
This past weekend, PCW ULTRA uploaded a video titled "Is Penta leaving the indies?" After a heartfelt speech to the crowd about his status as the PCW Ultra Champion, Penta went to pretty much crush any hopes of 'Cero Miedo' showing up in Stamford, Connecticut.
"And before I forget, I am not going anywhere. Penta will be in PCW for many more years."
While that may sound like just the thing someone secretly in talks with WWE would say, don't get your hopes up. Pentagón Jr. has been enjoying himself across Lucha Underground, Impact Wrestling, and the various indies as of late, notably showing up recently at All In to take on Kenny Omega. With a lengthy 281 day reign as PCW Ultra Champion and an entertaining feud with Sami Callihan over in Impact Wrestling, Penta was likely telling the truth. Maybe we'll see him partner up with the McMahons one day - just don't expect it anytime soon.
