Police officers had to intervene when a fan threw a drink at Scarlett during a WWE house show this weekend, resulting in several people being ejected from the building.

The incident occurred during WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event show in Peoria, Illinois on Saturday (12 November). Twitter user @RealTalkWrestle, who was at the show, noted that somebody threw water at Scarlett during a match between Karrion Kross and Drew McIntyre. This led to the police getting involved.

Although the bout wasn't stopped, Scarlett was understandably upset. This is where accounts start to vary, however. One states that a male fan was handcuffed while Kross vs. McIntyre continued.

But @sloat_preston, who claims to have been sat b behind the fans in question, says that the offending attendees weren't cuffed, but asked to leave.

Scarlett has since commented on the incident, calling the person who threw the drink a "granny."

A clip of the aggressors being escorted out of the building has since emerged.

McIntyre ended up defeating Kross while this was all going on. The duo have been feuding for several months now, going 1-1 in premium live event matches.
